Stephen Vogt said the one thing he hopes he’s remembered for in his baseball career is for being the hardest worker around.

It will be time to start reflecting on his career soon, as the 36-year-old Arizona Diamondbacks catcher today announced his retirement from the sport.

“I pride myself on my work ethic and I hope that rubbed off on my teammates and continues to rub off on the team after I’m gone,” he said.

During his career Vogt is batting .249 and has totaled 68 home runs.
